Last week, the Director of SOP International, Mr. Benjamin Hlebec, participated in an official visit of an economic delegation to Kazakhstan, led by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar. The delegation, composed of representatives from Slovenian companies and governmental institutions, took part in a business forum held in Astana and Almaty.
The visit aimed to strengthen economic cooperation between Slovenia and Kazakhstan and to explore new business opportunities. During the delegation’s visit, numerous business meetings, bilateral discussions, and presentations were held, providing SOP International with the opportunity to showcase its innovative solutions and expertise in international trade and logistics.
Mr. Hlebec expressed his satisfaction with the opportunities the Kazakh market offers: “Kazakhstan represents a key strategic point for expanding our business into Central Asia. Meetings with local business partners have confirmed strong interest in cooperation and the potential for joint projects in the future.”
As part of the visit, Mr. Hlebec also met with the leadership of Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ) to discuss potential collaboration in the field of logistics and technological equipment modernization.
