Drying with radiation

When drying with radiation, the workpieces are heated with the help of radiation from infrared or ultraviolet heaters.

The first advantage of this method of drying is represented by quick readiness for use and efficient heating of the workpieces. As a result, infrared dryers can be shorter, which is a great advantage in the case of limited space.

Another advantage is that it is not necessary to heat the entire workpiece, but radiation can be limited only to the part where the varnish is applied. This method of drying comes into play, where the painted surface needs to be repaired only in certain places and thus workpieces with minor defects do not have to be returned throughout the painting process.
